Evergreen Genealogy Services is located in Freedom New Hampshire but can conduct research in many locations in New England and Eastern Canada. With an extensive network of colleagues throughout the US, I can provide look-up services in many areas. Travel to some locations can be arranged on a case by case basis.
In April 2013 I completed the Boston University Program in Genealogical Research. I am a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, the New England Historical Genealogical Society, the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society, the Genealogical Society of Nova Scotia, and the Cape Breton Genealogical and Historical Society. I adhere to the Board of Certified Genealogists' Genealogical Proof Standard and conduct my research accordingly.
I dedicate my love for family heritage to my Grandfather, seen at left, who instilled in me the need to remain connected to our past and to our roots.
I began my family history search in the early 1990's when my mother and I traveled to her father's hometown in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. I felt a real connection to the place where he grew up and became the man that I knew. It took me a few years but I have put together his family tree, dating back to the early 1800's when his ancestors came to Cape Breton from the Isle of Barra in Scotland. Since then I have traced my heritage through the lines of each of my grandparents, in some cases back to the early 1600's. My work on my own family tree is forever evolving and growing. I would love to do the same for you.
